QiC Award Win

The EDEN team are delighted to share an award win at the Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes 2022 Awards!

Held on Thursday 13th October, the QiC Diabetes awards recognised and rewarded shared innovative practice, demonstrating quality in diabetes management, education and services for people with diabetes and/or their families.

Fiona Munday, Education and Research Associate, EDEN had an award win in the category Outstanding Educator in Diabetes

Fiona’s award nomination:

Fiona is a practice nurse with many years expertise, and an educator of people with diabetes. She has worked brilliantly and tirelessly as an Education and Research Associate for the last five years. As part of the EDEN team, Fiona designs, develops, and delivers education programmes and materials for healthcare professionals. She consistently goes above and beyond in terms of expectations and outputs. Fiona educates with excellence and inspires all who participate, and always makes her hard work seem effortless. Fiona has a wealth of knowledge, is kind-hearted, and charismatic. Her skill as an educator is clear to all.
